Player`s review Interpoker Poker
Interpoker Growing Pains InterPoker is the piggy-backing baby brother to the long -running and well-respected InterCasino and, as such, offers a more basic game-play experience than those sites whose focus is primarily for poker. The site offers a modest sign-up bonus of 100% of up to $150 deposit and, alas, excludes US players from joining in the fun. Their game choice is relatively limited but covers all of the basics, with Limit, Pot Limit, and No -Limit versions of Hold 'em, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit versions of Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo, and a fixed limit version of 7-Card Stud. It does have sattlites for WSOP events, though, so the relative softness of play there will be a boon to those of you looking to sneak your way into the biggest game on the circuit. Their graphics are simple, easy-to-use, and straight-forward, though they lack the flash of some more specialty poker sites. The low-maintenance software allows for better multi-table interface, though, and while their lack of avatars stems a more personal appeal to the tables, the ease and facility of play allows for, at the very least, and extremely efficient poker experience. They offer a 24-hour support staff, though the turnaround for response tends to take a few hours, so any urgent problem will have to be dealt with with a rigorous sense of patience on your part should you come across a problem with payment or conduct at the tables. The most interesting gimmick that we found about the site was a feature called Extreme Poker, a promotion that sets the game play in exotic locations where one wouldn't normally find a table. The idea, for instance, of playing Hold 'Em at the bottom of the ocean seems to us to be a cute idea at best, but how could a dealer shuffle the cards or anyone be heard when making bets? It might even be entertaining to amend that site so that, for instance in the case of the underwater theme, a guppie were the dealer and every avatar in the seats were different breeds of sharks. That would definitely give the relatively softer players at least a better sense of their own game play and, as such, would probably bring the dimmer of those (kind and fishy as they are) back to the site to provide the much-needed feeding for those of us who play for bigger stakes. |
