Player`s review Littlewoods Poker
Into the Little Woods British affiliate Little Woods Poker has one of the better opening pages that I've seen. I'd love to tell you more about the nature of the game play, but, alas, I'm not allowed onto the site as this particular reviewer writes you from the US and Little woods, like the majority of the sites with whom we're affiliated, don't allow for players in the US. From everything that I can tell, though, the site at the very least has one of the better looks in the internet poker market that I've seen, with lifelike and varied avatars and a crisp, detailed table layout that most sites have skirted over or waylaid for the sake of. . . well, I have no idea why some of these other sites have scrimped on the graphical content, though I must say that the folks at Little Woods have done a fine, fine job of it. They offer a wide variety of tried-and-true games, including both fixed and No Limit versions of Hold'em, Fixed and Pot Limit Omaha, 7 Card Stud, and even, yes, a 5 card Draw game. (Who still plays 5 Card Draw, anyway? Do you?) and feature a simple interface that, while it lacks all the bells and whistles o, say a FullTilt set-up, are efficient enough not to distract the more serious player with too many frills. They have a 24-hour support staff that's said to be friendly and quick to respond and, as they're a member of the 888 network, naturally funnel a whole kettle of fish courtesy of the Party Poker people, the fishiest and fastest game on the Web. And now, since I'm in the middle of questioning everything again, I have a question for those of you out there who might well benefit from playing rather than those of us who, on the other side of the pond, have been banned from playing the online version of the game that we created and that consequently is the most popular non—sport since the 9-ball revolution twenty years ago, I ask you whether you're better off, or we're better off, that my countrymen disallow so many real-money games from those of us who've played for so long? Again, we'll never really know, will we? In the meantime, though, the affiliates in the Little Woods Poker Room would love for you to take a hand or two at their tables. And if that fails, you can always go over to their full casino, where the Little Woods LTD have been running strong for years. |
